Denise Marie Antoine is a Los Angeles native who began her artistic training in Contemporary Modern dance, with Karen McDonald and Classical Ballet, with Stefan Wenta. She performed with Lula Washington's Youth Ensemble and attended L.A. County H.S. for the arts. Upon graduation from LACHSA she was accepted to The Ailey School, The Boston Conservatory, Tisch and NYU to study dance. Though she was disappointed to decline acceptances due, to lack of resources, she eventually found a new path to her purpose.
